Le Thé Blanc MÓNG RỒNG ou «ÉCAILLE DE DRAGON» est composé de bourgeons de thé très rare provenant de Chiêu Lầu Thi, une des plus haute montage de la province de Hà Giang à l’extrême Nord du Vietnam.

Ces bourgeons sont récoltés à plus de 2400 mètres d’altitude sur des théiers centenaires âgés pour certains de plus de 300 ans.

Très originaux de par leur apparence, les bourgeons de MÓNG RỒNG possèdent une belle couleur violette due à un pigment naturel appelé « anthocyane » (un puissant antioxydant jouant un rôle essentiel contres les risques cardiovasculaires) . Cette originalité vient d’une mutation naturelle que le théier a développé afin de se protéger contre les températures extrêmes (très chaud en été, très froid en hiver).

Le nom « Móng Rồng » signifie «Écaille de Dragon» en vietnamien. Il est appelé de cette façon en raison de sa forme.

Il s’agit ici d’un thé blanc très subtil à la fois floral et fruité. Ses arômes très riches rappellent la rose, l’abricot, le raisin, les fruits de la passion, la pêche et la vanille.

Une température supérieure pourrait « bruler » les bourgeons et les feuilles de thé ce qui libérerai trop de tannins d’un seul coup et ainsi les rendrai votre infusion amère.
